Verdicchio is a white-wine grape variety that has been cultivated for hundreds of years in the Marche region of central Italy. t is commonly lauded by critics as being one of Italy's best white-wine grape varieties, and is very popular around the World.
“Tralivio Verdicchio is one of the best Verdicchio wines made anywhere.” Ian D’Agata, Vinous Media (July 2015).
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico 'Tralivio' by Sartarelli has an intense straw yellow colour with greenish nuances. Its fine elegant smell with notes of white fruits and citrus-fruits develops into a subtle mineral aroma. It has a rich alcohol zing and flavour but with its well balanced acidity it becomes soft on the palate.
Best to be enjoyed with
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico 'Tralivio' by Sartarelli is charming with sushi and raw fish, elaborated fish or white meat dishes, such as fish soup, baked or grilled fish, rabbit or chicken. It goes wonderfully with mushrooms, tagliatelle with truffles and medium mature cheeses.
