Grape: Indigenous Grape - Verdicchio
Alcohol Content: 14%
Unit Quantity: 750 ml
The Verdicchio is one of the most promising italian white wines, as confirmed by this limited quantity but extremely treasurable product made by a small family – run winery.
The bouquet is light but wide. With a bright straw-yellow colour and reflections of lime green, this wine is more persistent than intense and reveals deep sensations of yellow fruit, evident herbal notes and slight mineral nuances that will render it a champion of longevity. In the mouth, it is rich and concentrated, with a weighted acidity and a heavy, sapid note conferred by the originating land. The finish is long and persistent.
Best to be enjoyed with
It is a wine with a strong personality, as should be the people surrounding you. To be tried with tasty fish courses or with semi-seasoned cheeses: success is guaranteed!
The Winery: Zannotti
The winery is situated on a hill in San Paolo di Jesi, one of the most favourable locations to produce the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC: the soil is clayish and the climate is cool, characterised by a wide temperature range between day and night, paramount for the production of grapes with high aromaticity. The winery has received important wine awards in recent years.
