Vallée d'Aoste Doc
FUMIN IS AN EXTREMELY UNUSUAL WINE, BEST EXPRESSING THE FEATURES OF THE GRAPES OF ORIGIN (AND OF THEIR MOUNTAINOUS LAND). THE MAKER IS A SMALL FAMILY-RUN WINERY THAT, OVER TIME, HAS BECOME A REGIONAL BENCHMARK FOR QUALITY.
The colour is a deep rubin with a crimson glare that livens it up. On the nose, this wine shows intense fruit fragrances recalling ripe blackberry and blackcurrant, slightly refreshed by a vegetal touch and immediately resumed by spicy notes, with charming nuances of scorched wood. The palate reveals all the sweetness of ripe and fleshy fruits, supplemented by the spicier notes already perceived by smell. The tannins are quite thick and the finish is prolonged, with a tone of sapidity.
Best to be enjoyed with: a special wine, different from all the others; accordingly, it should be served to flamboyant dining companions. It matches perfectly with robust fare: for instance, red meat or feathered game; but smoked cheeses and well-seasoned cured meat will also fit with this wine.
The Grosjean Winery
The Grosjean winery is situated between the villages of Quart and Saint Christophe, in the region of Vallée D'Aoste, in the Alps. In 1969, the founder started to bottle his own wine: this trade soon expanded from three thousand square metres to the current ten hectares planted with vineyards.

Maremma Toscana Igt
Ciliegiolo Vallerana Alta
THE TUSCANY OF GREAT WINES IS NOT ONLY CHIANTI AND BRUNELLO AND THIS STRONG-CHARACTER RED IS PROOF; DERIVED FROM A TRADITIONAL VINE, THE CILIEGIOLO, IT IS ABLE TO CONVEY DEEP EMOTIONS.
In a glass of deep ruby-red wine, cherry and berry aromas fluctuate jointly with spicy notes and a slight tone of wood in the background. In the mouth, the tannins are of medium intensity, silky and fine-grained, with a well-balanced acidity and a fair sapidity. The aftertaste is long and persistent, due to bold red berry aromas, in particular cherry and plum.
Best to be enjoyed with: when the opportunity of tasting such a sanguine wine arises, call your most voracious friends. It should be served with grilled red meat or aged cheeses, without many frills.
The Antonio Camillo Winery
Antonio Camillo is a wine-grower and the Production Manager at the Poggio Argentiera winery. He is the mastermind behind this wine. Poggio Argentiera has 20 acres of property, with two farms, Podere Keeling and Podere Adua, at a distance of 20 km from one another; the estate also includes a wine cellar and a business centre.

Cerasuolo di Vittoria Docg
Indigenous vine from Ragusa
WHEN THE NERO D'AVOLA, KING OF THE SICILIAN GRAPES, MEETS THE FRAPPATO, INDIGENOUS VINE FROM RAGUSA, RECKLESS THINGS HAPPEN. STRENGTH AND GENTLENESS, AUSTERITY AND FRIVOLITY UNITE IN AN UNCONVENTIONAL EMBRACE. AND THEY DAZE US...
With a bright crimson colour, it expresses refreshing sensations of watermelon, wild strawberries and sweet tones of candied fruit, chilled by intriguing notes of marjoram and of an extremely elegant Mediterranean maquies. The palate is soft, with fleshy fruits, fine tannins, a restrained alcoholic strength and a sapid feature that makes it even more drinkable. It finishes dry, with a pleasant mineral reference that increases its persistence.
Best to be enjoyed with: the universal wine. This is a fair definition for this product, able to appease the tastes of everybody you want around you. Pair it with pizza, pastas with tomato-based sauces, hotchpot, and not too-seasoned cheeses; it will surprise you.
The Gulfi Winery
In 1995, Vito Catania inherited part of the family's land from his father, who had bought it with his entire savings made in France as a migrant. This was the beginning of Gulfi, a pioneering winery in Sicily re-discovering the Pachino's prestigious crus. The estate is considered a benchmark for the production of Nero D'Avola. Gulfi's best-known wines are farmed organically.
