Spumante Metodo Classico Ardè

Castellari Bergaglio

ARDÈ IS A REALLY UNIQUE SPARKLING WINE, COMBINING THE SCENT OF THE CORTESE GRAPES (TRADITIONAL TO THIS PART OF PIEDMONT) WITH THE SUBTLETY BROUGHT BY THE REFINEMENT IN BOTTLE. NOT TO BE MISSED.
The qualities of Ardè are evident even at sight: the fine-grained and inviting perlage is a prelude to a soft touch and flavour. This wine's aromas stand out, ranging from flavour notes of apple rind and yellow plum to elegant fragrances of dried fruit and bread crust, from camomile flowers to honey, from talc to the fine balsamic tones of mint and medicinal herbs. A superb aperitif wine, Ardè will pair wonderfully with fried vegetables and sea fruits. Daringly, even with a Lemon Bavarian Cake for dessert!
Best to be enjoyed with: Ardè is a wine accessible by everyone, greatly expressive and not complicated to taste, apt to entice your friends with its extraordinary elegance.

The Castellari Bergaglio Winery
The Castellari Bergaglio family decided to start making wine in the late 19th century. Since the beginning, the purpose was to make wines with features unmistakably linked to the distinctive nature of their terroir. A specific focus is given to the Cortese grape, peculiar to the Gavi area in Piedmont.

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Doc

Grestio

Zannotti

THE VERDICCHIO IS ONE OF THE MOST PROMISING ITALIAN WHITE WINES, AS CONFIRMED BY THIS LIMITED QUANTITY BUT EXTREMELY TREASURABLE PRODUCT MADE BY A SMALL FAMILY-RUN WINERY.
The bouquet is light but wide. With a bright straw-yellow colour and reflections of lime green, this wine is more persistent than intense and reveals deep sensations of yellow fruit, evident herbal notes and slight mineral nuances that will render it a champion of longevity. In the mouth, it is rich and concentrated, with a weighted acidity and a heavy, sapid note conferred by the originating land. The finish is long and persistent.
Best to be enjoyed with: it is a wine with a strong personality, as should be the people surrounding you. To be tried with tasty fish courses or with semi-seasoned cheeses: success is guaranteed!

The Zannotti Winery
The winery is situated on a hill in San Paolo di Jesi, one of the most favourable locations to produce the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC: the soil is clayish and the climate is cool, characterised by a wide temperature range between day and night, paramount for the production of grapes with high aromaticity. The winery has received important wine awards in recent years.

Cerasuolo di Vittoria Docg

Indigenous vine from Ragusa

Gulfi

WHEN THE NERO D'AVOLA, KING OF THE SICILIAN GRAPES, MEETS THE FRAPPATO, INDIGENOUS VINE FROM RAGUSA, RECKLESS THINGS HAPPEN. STRENGTH AND GENTLENESS, AUSTERITY AND FRIVOLITY UNITE IN AN UNCONVENTIONAL EMBRACE. AND THEY DAZE US...
With a bright crimson colour, it expresses refreshing sensations of watermelon, wild strawberries and sweet tones of candied fruit, chilled by intriguing notes of marjoram and of an extremely elegant Mediterranean maquies. The palate is soft, with fleshy fruits, fine tannins, a restrained alcoholic strength and a sapid feature that makes it even more drinkable. It finishes dry, with a pleasant mineral reference that increases its persistence.
Best to be enjoyed with: the universal wine. This is a fair definition for this product, able to appease the tastes of everybody you want around you. Pair it with pizza, pastas with tomato-based sauces, hotchpot, and not too-seasoned cheeses; it will surprise you.

The Gulfi Winery
In 1995, Vito Catania inherited part of the family's land from his father, who had bought it with his entire savings made in France as a migrant. This was the beginning of Gulfi, a pioneering winery in Sicily re-discovering the Pachino's prestigious crus. The estate is considered a benchmark for the production of Nero D'Avola. Gulfi's best-known wines are farmed organically.
