Kerner is an intense and aromatic white wine produced in Trentino Alto-Adige, a mountainous region of Northern Italy, close to the border with Austria. It originates from Kerner, an indigenous grape bred by August Herold in the late twenties of the 20th century by crossing Schiava grossa and Riesling.
Kerner by Abbazia di Novacella has a yellow color. With green nuances, apple and peach fruit on the nose and a hint of mango, its opulence is cut by crisp acidity.
