    FOOD PARING

Verso Rosso Salento IGT can most certainly be drunk on its own, but works well with roast meats and winter stews. A wine for mature hard cheeses.

    TASTING NOTES

    >TASTING<

    PUGLIA

Verso Rosso Salento IGT by Botter is rich and inviting, lots of ripe and dried fruits, such as plums and raisins. Dark chocolate and black pepper spice. Full-bodied, mouth-filling and velvety, sweet dark fruit balanced with some bramble characters and welcomed tannins. Very easy drinking. This wine has pleasurable nose intermixing stone fruits, cassis, and a vegetal dimension. Fresh, full, easy-drinking palate where fruit and some spice are expressed with conviction. The sensation of softness, a hint of firmness on the finish. A joyful wine to keep.

    THE WINERY

    THE WINERY

    The winery: Botter
Botter was founded in a small town just outside of Venice in 1928. Since then it has grown to become one of the largest producers and exporters of Italian wines. The winery prides itself on being a symbol for the passion - as well as talent and creativity - of the three generations of winemakers that have expressed the terroir around the Primitivo di Manduria “Magnifico Rosso Fuoco”.
