    FOOD PARING

The best way to pair Barbaresco 'Angelo' by Albino Rocca is with wild mushroom risotto, agnolotti al tartufo and braised meat. A great companion for old strong cheeses like Gorgonzola and Castelmagno. It needs to be opened at least 2 hours before drinking. Pour the nectar into a crystal decanter.

    TASTING NOTES

    >TASTING<

    PIEDMONT

Barbaresco “Angelo” by Albino Rocca is a deeper style of Barbaresco. Boasting mature red & dark fruits, earthy notes with mineral vein and complexing floral notes. Soft mouthfeel, with a dense palate showing power and structure. Sweet ripe fruit balances the grippy tannins on the finish.

    THE WINERY

    ALBINO ROCCA
    THE WINERY

    The Winery: Albino Rocca
Albino Rocca, they established the company in 1955 in one of the most precious region of Piemonte--Barbaresco. 1971 was the first vintage of Barbaresco. Recently they have gained their “Green Experience” certification, an achievement granted solely for Piemonte wines with vinicultural methods that conserve natural resources and protect the landscape of the region through natural agricultural methods and chemical reduction. Their Barbarescos are aged in large twenty hectolitre neutral oak barrels to highlight the Nebbiolo grape and produce a more elegant, less oaky style.
