Liquore di Assenzio Bianco is a powerful liqueur produced in Piemonte, a region in northern Italy. Assenzio (Absinthe) is a high alcohol distillate with an intense anise aroma created by the use of herbs such as wormwood leaves, from which it takes its name (Artemisia absinthium). This Assenzio is produced through maceration, followed by direct distillation of all the ingredients, including fennel seeds, hyssop, lemon balm, Roman wormwood, angelica, mint, chamomile and coriander.
Liquore di Assenzio Bianco by Antica Distilleria Quaglia is colourless. On the nose this absinthe offers precise notes of green anise in abundance. Floral and medicinal notes provide a unique and delightful layer to the intensity of the anise. On the palate, the assenzio is very powerful and has an wonderful savoury complexity. It immediately takes over with strength and elegance, showing off some intense aromas of green anise, angelica and zedoary enclosed in a harmonious symphony of flowers and spices.

The Winery: Antica Distilleria Quaglia
Antica Distilleria Quaglia was established just after the Unification of Italy in 1871 between Monferrato and the hills towards Turin; an area renowned for its exceptional winemaking. Carlo Quaglia is the most recent to take over the business. His enthusiasm for the exquisite quality of Quaglia products, is evident in his move to enrich the choice of rare, unique creations without ever overlooking the Distillery’s core values of artisanal excellence and the use of high-quality, natural primary products.
