The Marche region is renowned for the beauty of its beaches and the quality of local wines. This outstanding rosè wine originates from the chalky promontory of Mount Conero and consists of a blend of local red-berry grapes.
The appearance is wonderful, featuring a bold, shimmering pink tone. It flows easily through the glass. On the nose, this rosato expresses immediately its fresh, pronounced soul, with scents of red fruits and an elegant floral note. In the mouth, this wine proves to be blunt, tasteful, with a clear acidity enhancing its freshness and juiciness.
Best to be enjoyed with
If there is a wine gifted with versatility, it is Rosa di Montacuto. It pairs easily with tomato-sauced pastas or rice, white-meat recipes and, why not, pizza. To be enjoyed during the most enchanting summer evenings with gaiety (and moderation).
The Winery: Moroder
The Moroder family arrived in Ancona from North-Eastern Italy during the 18th century and established their wine estate. More than 200 years later, in the Eighties the Moroders undertook a thorough restructuring of the local farm, which now focuses only on wine production. Solar panels generate energy and only resources with a low environmental impact are used for wine production.
