Barolo is the King of Italian Winemaking! It is a red wine produced in Piemonte, a region in Northern Italy, characterized by an excellent fruit clarity. Francesco Rinaldi is one of the greatest names in Piemonte. Located in the town of Barolo itself, the domaine of Francesco Rinaldi has a long and illustrious history in the region. Maturing takes place in wood for about 3 years. This wine is suitable for prolonged ageing in bottle.
Barolo by Francesco Rinaldi has ruby garnet red colour with slightly orange reflections after ageing. The smell is ethereal, wide and embracing with scents of rose, violet and soft balmy notes. The taste is dry and harmonic.
Best to be enjoyed with
Barolo by Francesco Rinaldi matches very well with red meat, braised meat, game, aged cheese, meat pastas and risottos. It needs to be opened at least 2 hours before drinking. Pour the nectar into a crystal decanter.
The Winery: Francesco Rinaldi
Francesco Rinaldi is one of the greatest names in Piedmont. Located in the town of Barolo itself, the domaine of Francesco Rinaldi has a long and illustrious history in the region. Francesco Rinaldi e Figli continue to make beautiful wines within the great traditions of Barolo, avoiding new oak, and preferring long macerations and aging in large Slavonian oak prior to bottling.
