Freisa Langhe is a delightful red wine produced in Piemont from an indigenous grape. The Langhe area is home to some of the most renowned wines in Italy, such as Barolo and Barbaresco, Asti and Dogliani.
Freisa Langhe by Borgogno shows a ruby red color. Fresh fruit driven nose with aromas of berries and rose. A fresh and light bodied wine, with a pleasant grip from tannins on the finish. Good length.
Best to be enjoyed with
Freisa Langhe by Borgogno is outstanding with salami and other charcuterie, roast veal chop, penne with pork and fennel seeds.
The Winery: Borgogno
Borgogno is a historic estate, situated right in the heart of the Barolo region, that started production in 1761. Today the estate is owned by the Farinetti family, founders of Eataly, the world's biggest marketplace for High Quality Food and Drinks. Following a code of absolute environmental ethic, Borgogno treats its grapes in the very best methods without using chemical fertilizers.
